Primal/Paleo Asian Pork Loin (with coleslaw)

I don’t like pork very much, but I do LOVE this recipe.  It’s super easy and really yummy.  Add the coleslaw (which is another really great recipe) and it’s the perfect mixture of flavors.

Asian Pork Loin


3lbs of pork loin (or any other type of park roast)

Liberally salt & pepper the roast and place into the crockpot.  Add some minced garlic (or garlic powder if you want) to the top of the roast.


Mix all of the following together:

4 tablespoons of Soy Sauce

2 tablespoons of almond butter (or peanutbutter, if you don’t mind using it)

1 tablespoon of honey

2 tablespoons of white rice vinegar

2 teaspoons of sesame oil

1 – 2 tablespoons of Sriracha (depends on how hot you like it)

1 tablespoon of minced ginger

Pour your sauce over the meat.  Don’t add anymore liquid.  It doesn’t look like enough, but it will be.  Cook on your low crockpot setting for 4-6 hours, or until done.

Slice your roast and pour a little sauce on top.  Add coleslaw on the side (or on top).  Enjoy!
